Capturing the festival spirit.
The Start
We sat down with the founders to dig into Maho Rasop’s history and ambitions. Through workshops and listening sessions, we mapped the festival’s DIY ethos and identified how to amplify its raw, underground energy.
Our Journey
From the research we crafted clear vision and mission statements that spoke to freedom and discovery. We teamed up with illustrator Marc Stuart to build a visual identity that blends cut-and-paste zine art with modern distortions. For the website, we channelled a DIY music zine style, building intuitive artist pages and event guides. In motion, we mixed 3D and 2D glitches with physical print textures
The Finale
We delivered a full brand toolkit, updated logo lockup, colour system, custom type treatments and zine-style layouts. We designed a website where fans can explore line-ups and stories. We produced an aftermovie using VHS cams, 3D film, Sony FX3s and drone aerials to capture the festival’s visceral energy. We also provided edit-ready Boiler Room footage for broadcast.
