The Challenge

Riot Games tasked us with finding a way to capture that Songkran feeling in a uniquely Wild Rift way. We wanted to keep it fun, especially in these times, celebrating coming together and helping each other out.

How we solved it

We brought Wild Rift and Songkran together with a child like imagination. With plenty of “in jokes” for Wild Rift fans as well as Songkran references like always needing that Khao Kai Giew power up!

We took the freedom of the brief to propose the campaign format and mechanics. We then approached and engage URBOYTJ, one of Thailand’s biggest musicians right now to write a song uniquely for the campaign whilst weaving Wild Rift the campaign narrative into the lyrics and episodes.

With multiple sets, production teams, over 30 talent, a lot of equipment and water everywhere, there could have been trouble. Thankfully the weather stayed good, the equipment stayed dry, the talent and URBOYTJ smashed it and we successfully wrapped a big day.
